The Greirat quest is such a buggy piece of garbage. This is the second playthrough that has randomly had him die on me when he should've lived. Here's what I did: Rescued Siegward from the well after beating the Cathedral. Sent Greirat off to Irithyll. Beat the Old Demon King.
