TOS is great for TA and swing trades, but there are definitely better options if "speed is crucial". I've got 1gig fiber, cat6 hardline and a rocket of a pc and still struggled with scalping on TOS. It's still open and used for swing trades and retirement account, but moved daytrading to lightspeed.
