I prefer something a little more complex, so I favor the Mark IV over the Mark III. And I prefer something slightly darker, so I prefer the Mark II over the Mark IV.

The 7 was too open for me, but I don't know about you. Volume shouldn't be too much of an issue with the 5JB and a soft reed. Keep the B45 for classical too. CSU, Long Beach (now the Cole Conservatory) has had a large Saxophone Ensemble for the past 25+ years. It was started by Leo Potts in the early 80's and is currently conducted by Jay Mason. It is Bass through Soprano and has anywhere from 12 to 20 or more saxophonists.Surely a better choice than all the $8-9,000 Jinbao basses on ebay, but at a price still difficult for me to justify. Browsing SOTW a few weeks ago I read multiple reports from players praising their Jinbao bass saxophones, including three regarding the Thomann branded bass. Hmmm. Next I saw Thomann’s $2,699 price tag.
